Tinkering toward a brighter tomorrow, Ever so mindful of time's wrought sorrow. From dawn 'til midday, and to midnight from twilight, Time trickles by with seemingly no end in sight. In its end, who will still stand here? Out of this, may fate relinquish whom I fear… Deepness, and light and truth long forgotten, Lie in faraway forests not to be lost in, Through the trees of temporality, Electromagnetic waves reverberate— Resonating ripples in reality— Eliciting a feeling to which few relate. Anomalous auroras and stranger things Send me toward the possible source— A machine designed to warp all being— Virtually inoperable, if by impure force. Crickets chirp and predators lurk, But I manage my senses to stay alert. Steadily I creep past those who sleep, Minding my best not to wake those at rest.
